We are still in our shells, when do we get outta them?!

Hey all! We are sure a ton of you are wondering when your game will arrive. "Didn't you guys say September?!" We did, and we are very sorry for underestimating the impact the pandemic would have on getting these produced and shipped to us. We promise these will be arriving for everyone very soon.

Our fulfillment partners assured us that all items are arriving at the warehouse in October. Once they arrive they will be packaged and shipped out ASAP. Which means they should be shipping late October into November.

Backers who are expecting signed copies by Greg will unfortunately have to wait a tiny bit longer as we have to get these from the warehouse all the way down to him in Hawaii. Then Greg will need to find the perfect spot on the island where he can rest among the fish and sea turtles, because that's where he draws his best signatures. After they're all signed we need to ship them back to the warehouse to our partners for fulfillment.  

But I Gotta Play It Now!!

In case you missed it, back in June we released Outta Our Shells Remote Play for backers who wanted to play the game right away and also those who were quarantining and wanted something fun to do during video calls.  The reception from that was great and the number one feedback we got was "the cards need artwork!" Well, thanks to all of you here at Kickstarter we were able to add artwork to all the cards.

Well I'm glad you asked. If you are a fan of Greg's other game ToeJam & Earl you may have seen our latest Kickstarter update which details a super cool Custom SEGA Genesis Cartridge for charity, a Kickstarter by some of our friends for a ToeJam & Earl themed cookbook and even a new update to ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove. Now that's jammin' news!

Hey all, hope you didn't forget about us! Sorry for the lack of updates lately, we have been working hard with our fulfillment partners to make sure everything is absolutely right. We had to make some slight adjustments to some rewards once we noticed we provided the wrong colors but now everything is looking awesome!!

We are very excited to get this into your hands to hear what everyone thinks. 

So now that everything is being manufactured for our backers we hope to have it all start shipping by the end of the month. As always we appreciate your patience and hope you're as excited as we are because we are almost there!

Hey again everyone! Sorry for sending another message so soon, we didn't realize we would be ready so quickly, so there's definitely some good news! 

WE ARE NOW READY TO LOCK ADDRESSES 48 HOURS FROM NOW.

You should have received an email from BackerKit giving a heads up about the final address lock down and how to update your address. If you haven't you can visit the BackerKit page manually here:

We noticed that a lot of backers have updated their addresses since our last heads up and that was awesome to see. However some of our backers have changed addresses on the Kickstarter survey and not the correct BackerKit survey, please make sure you're filling out the right one!

How to Update Your Address using BackerKit!

Hey y'all! 

Just wanted to drop a quick heads up that all cards for Outta Our Shells have been fixed and updated to specifications and have been officially approved by our fulfillment partners. We are now waiting for samples to be sent to us and if everything checks out we will begin moving into production. We should be right on track for getting the game into your hands this September as originally estimated. YAY!

We have noticed that a few backers are updating their addresses using the Kickstarter survey. Again, this is entirely on us so we apologize for the confusion, we will NOT be using the Kickstarter survey information, only the information we are provided by our BackerKit survey.

If you need to review your shipping address, you can return to your survey by requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit page at:

We are NOT locking down addresses yet, but you can update at any time. We will give another heads up when we are ready to lock down addresses closer to fulfillment.

Charging Orders from BackerKit Survey!

Hey all, just wanted to drop another boring update and give a heads up that we will be charging orders from our BackerKit survey. 

So if you ordered an extra copy of the game or donated a tip those charges will be going through tonight into tomorrow. If you did NOT order anything from our BackerKit survey then you should not see any extra charges. 

We are still in the sample phase of our rewards making sure everything is just right before we move into full production. Everything is moving along nicely and we will still hopefully have this game in your hands by the originally estimated September. 

and uhhh... yeah, that's pretty much it on our end. How's it going with you? Read any good books lately?
